Justin (JD) Scalzo

Senior class president Hamden High School 2007, Scalzo has studied theatre performance at Wagner while plumbing acting opportunities in the greater New York City area and Northeast. He has performed tour and regional theatre roles in productions of Spelling Bee, Grease and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He was a key player in Hamden High Main Stage Ensemble productions as well as in plays at Wagner College and the University of Hartford. He has also appeared in lead and secondary roles in several original film shorts. Scalzo credits his Hamden High experiences under the direction of teachers Nyquist, Brown and Schlusberg as a prime source of his passion for the theatre.
