Kevin Roche

Dublin-born architect Roche first worked for the architect Eero Saarinen in New Haven. When Saarinen died in 1961, Roche completed Saarinen’s projects in progress and then opened his own architectural firm with John Dinkeloo in Hamden. His work has been recognized with the Pritzker Prize (1982), the American Academy of Arts and Letters Gold Medal (1990) and the AIA Gold Medal (1993).
