Norm Schriever

Schriever is a former businessman from Spring Glen who quit it all to travel the world and write. He is a 1990 graduate of Hamden High who then went on to the University of Connecticut. In 1999 he and a friend started a year-long trek through more than twenty countries and six continents that finally became Pushups in the Prayer Room: Reflections from a Year Backpacking Around the World (2012).
