Geoffrey Detrani

Detrani is a visual artist and poet who was educated at the State University of New York (B.A. and M.F.A.) and Long Island University (M.S.). He has been the recipient of almost two dozen awards, fellowships, artist residencies and grants. His art work has been exhibited in solo, two-person and group shows in galleries, museums and educational institutions in Connecticut, New York, California and Korea. His pieces are held in the collections of the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art among others and in private collections.
