Dolores Gall
Retired Art Historian, Dolores Gall, graduated from the University of Minnesota, becoming a lecturer at The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Gall later moved to the New Haven area in 1964, where she worked for Yale University, first at the Art Gallery and later as a Curatorial Assistant in Prints and Drawings at Yale’s British Arts Center. Retired in 1992 as the Administrative Associate at the Yale School of Architecture, Gall moved on to become the President of the New Haven Paint & Clay Club’ a volunteer at Yale’s Peabody Museum of Natural History, and a member of the Hamden Art League. Gall has also had solo exhibits of her work in various places in Connecticut, including Koenig’s Art Center and Whitney Center in Hamden, the New Haven Lawn Club, and the Case Memorial Library in Orange.
