George Moore

Actor. Singer. Dancer. Director. Playwright. Photographer. Moore has performed in numerous stage roles in area theater companies. He was a founding member of the Performance Studio Theater of New Haven and the Wooster Square Revival, the first improvisational theatre group in New Haven. Moore was a featured soloist in the European premier of Leonard Bernstein’s MASS. He has won Boston International Film Festival Awards for Best Actor and Best Film and CAP Awards for Best Original Programming and Best Children’s Program (The Christmas Witch), and Best Original Screenplay (Prom Nite ’63). He is a long serving chairperson of the Hamden Arts Commission.
