Isabella Quagliato Mendes

Brazilian Mendes graduated from Hamden High School and performed in Hamden’s Salute to Young Artists in 2002. She continued her studies at New Haven’s Educational Center for the Arts (ECA). She is an accomplished pianist whose multi-cultural compositions and musical interpretations have won her recognition and praise. She and her band perform a repertoire of traditional and new Brazilian bossa novas and jazz throughout Connecticut.
