Joseph Juliano, Jr.

Former Hamden High School Fine Arts Director Juliano directed 125 productions in his twenty years of teaching there. He designed or was instrumental in implementing the grade 7-12 theatre program, the grade K-12 fine arts curriculum, and the Fine Arts facilities in the high school. He served twelve years on the American Alliance for Theatre & Education Board, three as President. His other memberships include the National Arts Education Partnership Steering Committee, chairperson of the Consortium of National Arts Education Associations, advisor to The Annenberg Foundation Interdisciplinary Professional Development Projects, the Connecticut Arts Literacy Task Force, and chairperson of the Connecticut State Department of Education Committee on Theatre Curriculum. He has adjudicated many theatrical competitions and received numerous awards.
