Mary Ann Bradley Miller

Wife of Willis E. Miller (1840-1904), Miller (d. 1924) upon her death provided a bequest to the Town of Hamden to establish a public library in honor of her husband, a public-spirited citizen of Hamden responsible for starting and building numerous businesses in town. The present library facility in his name, opened in 1980, is the site not only of the library but also of cultural arts events of all kinds throughout the year.
