Artemis Simerson

Simerson is a violinist, a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (University of Rochester) and Assistant Concertmaster of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. She is a past recipient of the Hamden Educational Foundation’s Distinguished Alumni Award and the New Haven Symphony’s Distinguished Service and Outstanding Musician Awards. She has toured the United States as a chamber musician, recorded solo and chamber music soundtracks for television commercials and documentaries and recorded Arabic music with the Near Eastern Music Ensemble.
