Chris and Myron Radawiec

Chris and Myron Radawiec, both teachers at the Neighborhood Music School, have made names for themselves in the Hamden cultural arts community. Chris, devoted to flute and ensemble, and Myron, a classical guitarist, have performed together at various Hamden locations, including the Miller Memorial Library and at a Whitneyville in the Park event. They also play at local weddings and churches, including the St. Rita Church and Spring Glen Congregational Church. Chris and Myron consider their most significant contributions to the arts to be "instilling a love and appreciation of live music in the many, many students [they] have taught over the years," claiming that "It is only through the young that we can keep the arts alive and thriving". Chris has been teaching at the Neighborhood Music School since 1983 and Myron since 1964.
