Orten L. Pengue, Jr.

Costume and set designer, Pengue (1948-2008) received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and a Master’s in Communications from Fairfield University. He worked at the Costume Bazaar, Inc., of New Haven for fifteen years where he established himself as a leading costume, make-up and hairstyle artist in the New England region. He also designed sets, costumes and make-up for twenty-seven years at Hamden High School and was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Service Award from the Connecticut Drama Association.
