Henry Austin

Raised in the Mt. Carmel section of Hamden, Austin (1804-1891) worked with Ithiel Town before starting his own architectural firm. He designed the gate to the Grove Street Cemetery, the New Haven town hall, and the New Haven Railroad Station among other area buildings.
