Thomas Cooley

Minneapolis native Cooley is just as likely to be in Germany, Japan, the Netherlands as Cleveland, Kansas City, New York, or Hamden these days as he meets an extremely busy schedule of performances worldwide. His lyric tenor voice can be heard performing the classical works of Handel, Bach and Mozart as well as those of more contemporary composers such as Berlioz, Stravinsky and Glass. His professional preparation included ten years of study and performances in Munich. Cooley’s recordings include the role of Mathan in Handel’s Athalia, the premiere recording of Vivaldi’s Dixit Dominus, and Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C Minor.
