Mia Malafronte

Photographer Malafronte established and operated a photography studio on Whitney Avenue in Hamden for three years until moving it to Woodridge. Inspired to pursue photography by her late father, Louis, she worked as a staff photographer for the New Haven Register. Now she specializes in portraiture, children and sports photography. She has used her studio to assist fundraisers for the American Cancer Society among other charities and she volunteers with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an organization that does portraiture for newborns not likely to survive.
