Jaroslav Pelikan

Jaroslav Pelikan (1923-2006), Sterling Professor of History at Yale scholar and writer of more than thirty books, mostly on topics of Christianity, taught at Yale from 1962 to 1996. He received honorary degrees from 42 academic institutions around the world and in 2004 shared the John W. Kluge Prize for Lifetime Achievement in the Human Sciences.
