Mike Ross

Ross’ personal path to a commercial photography business on Whitney Avenue started as a cruise ship photographer. His journey included several print media stops � the Waterbury Republican-American, the Connecticut Post, the Record Journal. Along the way he picked up awards for Sports Photograph of the Year (2002) and a first place feature photo award from the National Press Photographers Association (2004). His freelance work has included the New York Times, the Daily News, the Associated Press, Tribune Media, and the National Law Journal among others. He has supervised interns from Paier College of Art, has mentored students from Quinnipiac University and supported local non-profit organizations.
