Kathy Leonard Czepiel
Czepiel graduated from Dickinson College with a B.A. and a particular childhood yen to write. After an M.A. from New York University, she became an English teacher who wrote when all other priorities permitted. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous journals, the Dickinson Review, the Cimarron Review, the Indiana Review, The Pinch, CALYX, among them. She is now a writer who teaches (adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University). She is the author of A Violet Season (2012), her debut novel. She has received creative writing grants from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts.
